Jilin Agricultural Science and Technology University (JLASTC)'s history can be traced back to Jilin Secondary Agricultural School founded in 1907. JLASTC was officially launched in 2004 as a Jilin Provincial public full-time ordinary undergraduate university. It was built according to Jilin Medium Agricultural School and with the approval of the Chinese Ministry of Education. JLASTC is a national comprehensive reform pilot specialty construction college of the first batch of excellent agricultural and forestry talent education and training plan reform pilot project of the Ministry of Education, and a model university for transformation and development in Jilin Province. JLASTC with phenomenal growth in all aspects of its development since its inception. With campuses located in Zuojia Nature Reserve and Jilin Economic and Technological Development Zone.

吉林农业科技学院是一所具有悠久历史的百年学府，办学历史可追溯到1907年创办的吉林中等农学堂。2004年5月，经教育部批准，新组建的吉林特产高等专科学校升格为全日制本科院校，更名为吉林农业科技学院。学校是国家级综合改革试点专业、教育部首批卓越农林人才教育培养计划改革试点项目专业建设院校、吉林省转型发展示范高校。自成立以来，学校在各方面取得了长足的发展，目前有两个校区－位于吉林市经济技术开发区的九站校区和左家自然保护区的左家校区。

JLASTC's main campus in Jiuzhan Campus is located in Jilin Economic and Technological Development Zone. This Campus features modern educational facilities and provides students with access to some of the latest learning technologies and research innovations. In addition, the Campus has facilities for sports such as football, basketball, volleyball, badminton, table tennis and a gymnasium. The spacious campus grounds are also ideal for jogging and cycling. The following faculties are located in Jiuzhan Campus:

吉林农业科技学院九站校区主校区位于吉林经济技术开发区，具备现代化的教育设施，为学生提供最新的学习条件和研究创新。此外，该校区还设有各类体育设施，如足球场、篮球场、排球场、羽毛球场、乒乓球台和体育馆等，为学生的体育活动提供便利条件。宽敞的校园是学生学习生活的理想场所。以下学院位于九站校区：

Zuojia Campus is located in Zuojia Nature Reserve which is the provincial nature reserve of Jilin Province with a total area of 5544 hectares. This area is rich in animal and plant resources. Flanked by picturesque mountains and located within a growing township, Zuojia Campus offers a conducive and serene learning environment. The campus has complete experimental practice equipment, provincial key scientific and technological innovation centers or laboratories, as well as school teaching bases, etc. The following faculties are located in the Zuojia Campus:

左家校区位于吉林省省级自然保护区左家自然保护区内，占地面积5544公顷，拥有丰富的动植物资源。该校区依山傍水，坐落于不断发展的左家镇，为学生提供了一个有利且宁静的学习环境。左家校区拥有完备的实验实践设备、省级重点科技创新中心或实验室，以及学校教学基地等设施。学院设有以下院系：

• 动物科技学院

• Faculty of animal science and technology (FAST)

• 中药学院

• Faculty of traditional Chinese medicine (FTCM)

The applicants shall be non-Chinese citizen, and meet the requirements of JWH [2020] No. 12 Document of the Education Ministry of China. The applicants shall be physically and mentally healthy and willing to abide by the laws and regulations of China and the regulations of Jilin Agricultural Science and Technology University.

2.申请者年龄为18至25周岁，年龄计算按入学当年9月1日为准；仍未满18周岁的申请人，须在申请时提交监护人保证书。

Applicants should be between 18 and 25 years old as of September 1st of the year of application. Applicants who are under the age of 18 shall submit a guarantee letter from his/her guardians in China when applying.

3.语言能力

汉语水平须达到新HSK4级180分（含）以上。母语为汉语或高中阶段使用汉语授课的申请者，经我校认定，可免除提供HSK成绩。汉语水平未达到HSK4级以上，需要自费在学校学习一年中文预科，中文预科结束后通过HSK4级考试，才能正式入学。

Applicants shall hold the new HSK4certificate (with scores of 180+). Applicants whose mother tongue is Chinese or been taught in Chinese in high school can be exempted from HSK certificate if certified by Jilin Agricultural Science and Technology University.If the Chinese level does not reach HSK4 or above, you need to study Chinese at your own expense for one year in the school. After the Chinese course is over, you have to pass the HSK4 test before you can officially enter the school.

4.华裔学习背景要求 Study Requirements for Ethnic Chinese

父母双方或一方为中国公民或申请者本人从中国大陆（内地）、香港、澳门和台湾移民外国后取得外国国籍的，根据中华人民共和国教育部教外函〔2020〕12 号文，须入籍4年（含）以上，且最近 4 年之内有在外国实际居住 2 年以上的记录。（一年中实际在外国居住满9个月可按照一年计算，以入境和出境签章为准）。

If the applicants parents are or one of the parents is Chinese, or the applicant has emigrated from Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan and acquired foreign nationality, according to the No.12 Announcement of the Ministry of Education of the Peoples Republic of China (2020), they shall be naturalized for 4 years or more and have more than 2 years of residence in foreign countries during this period (The actual residence in a foreign country for more than 9 months in a year can be calculated as one year, subject to the entry and exit stamps).

出生在国外的申请者，也需符合上述要求，并提交个人出生证明和父母国籍材料。

Applicants born in foreign countries are required to meet the above criteria, and provide personal birth certificates and parents' nationality certificates.

• 个人经济能力证明或经济担保证明（5000美元或以上）

• Financial Certification/Bank Statement (5000USD or above).

• 已在中国境内并有在华学习经历的申请者需提供前学习院校开具的在校表现情况说明。

• Candidates who have any learning experiences in China should provide evidence of their academic performance from their previous institutions.

• 6个月内体检报告，入学注册报到时必须提交原件。

• Physical examination reportwithin 6 months, the original report should be submitted upon registration.

注：申请者在网上提交所有申请材料的扫描件。所有申请材料需为中文或英文，或中英文翻译件的公证件。报到注册时需提供所有材料原件以供审核。

   Note：Applicants are required to submit scanned copies of all required documents during application. All uploaded documents should be in Chinese or English; otherwise, notarized translations in Chinese or English are required. The original documents and notarized translations are to be submitted upon registration.

2. 面试与笔试Interview & Examination

通过材料评审的申请者进入面试和笔试环节。面试和笔试时间、方式在材料评审后以邮件形式通知。对于特别优秀的申请者，经过专家评审，可以免于面试。

   Applicants who pass the application document review will enter the interview and entrance exam stage. The time and mode for the interview and exam will be informed via email. Outstanding applicants recognized by Jilin Agricultural Science and Technology University will be exempted from the interview.

1.自费生申请时间Application Period

即日起，截至5月20日。

Application starts today and ends on May 20th,2024.

2.自费生录取时间Admission Period

学校将根据学生申请及面试情况，分批次公布录取结果。具体请查阅网站信息。

   Based on the overall evaluation of the document and interview of the applicants, Jilin Agricultural Science and Technology University will issue the admission results by batch. Please check the admission results on the website.

3. 报到时间Registration Period

来华留学生新生注册报到时间为每年8月至9月，具体以录取通知书为准。

   The usual registration period for international students is from August to September. Please check the Admission Notice for the exact registration time.

报到时须携齐全的报到材料，包括个人普通护照原件（不接受外交护照和因公护照）、录取通知书、签证申请表原件（JW202/JW201）及入境学生签证。新生入学时须携带所要求的中文或英文学位证和成绩单原件或公证件原件供学校复核入学资格。不符合入学条件者，取消入学资格。

  When registering at Jilin Agricultural Science and Technology University, the admitted students should provide their ordinary passport (diplomatic passport and service passport will not be accepted), Admission Notice, Visa Application Form (JW202/JW201), and student visa. Original or notarized diplomas or transcripts of their previous study in English or Chinese should also be provided for review during the official registration. Otherwise, the admission will be considered invalid.

被录取者应持普通护照、录取文件中的录取通知书、外国来华留学人员签证申请表、外国人体格检查记录及所有体格检查（含血检）报告，在入境前根据其学习期限向中国驻其国籍国或居住地国使领馆或中国外交部委托的其他驻外机构申请办理学生（X1字或X2字）签证。

Admitted applicants shall bring their passport, Admission Notice, Visa Application Form (JW202/201), Physical Examination Record Form as well as all physical examination reports including Blood Test Record to the local Chinese Embassy/Consulate or other official agencies authorized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Peoples Republic of China to apply for a student visa (X1/X2 visa).

注明：被录取者如果不持学生签证入境，吉林农业科技学院将不能为其注册。

Notice: If admitted applicants hold other types of visas rather than student visas (X1/X2 visa), they will not be registered at Jilin Agricultural Science and Technology University.

特殊情况期间，已在华学习的申请者获得录取通知书后，可持已有签证进行学习。

Under special circumstances, students who are already in China can study at Jilin Agricultural Science and Technology University with their current visa.

国际合作与交流处将为在规定时间内报到注册的新生安排校内住宿。

The School of International Education will arrange on-campus accommodation for new students who register within the specified period.

吉林农业科技学院本科学制为四年，主要采用中文教学。完成规定的教学计划，考核合格并通过毕业论文答辩，颁发本科毕业证书，经学位审查合格，授予学士学位。

The duration for undergraduate programs at Jilin Agricultural Science and Technology University is 4 to 6 years. Most of the programs are taught in Chinese and a few in English. Graduation certificates and bachelor's degrees will be awarded if students complete all the required courses and pass the thesis defense.

留学生宿舍为标准双人间，费用为2400元每年。

The dormitory for international students is a standard double room with a cost of 2400 yuan per year.

备注/Notes：

（1）入住时须按学年一次性缴清住宿费用。

Accommodation fee shall be paid by academic year.

（2）水费和电费根据实际使用收取。

Water and electricity shall be charged according to actual consumption.

3.其他费用 Other Expenses

• 学校注册费Registration fee    300 RMB

• 签证费Residence permit fee  400 RMB/Year

• 书本费Textbooks  500RMB

• 体检费Medical examination fee   500RMB

• 医疗保险费Medical insurance premiums/Year    800RMB

• 押金Deposit   500 RMB

   

1.申请我校汉语预科并通过审核的学生可申请新生奖学金，奖学金以减免学费的形式发放。

Students who apply for the Chinese language preparatory program can apply for the "The New Student Scholarship" , which will be issued in the form of reduced tuition fees.

2.学历生奖学金根据《吉林农业科技学院来华留学生奖学金管理办法(暂行)》执行。

According to the "Interim Measures for the Administration of Scholarships for International Students by Jilin Agricultural Science and Technology University".
